Neglected

In the past months I've neglected blogging.
I went on vacation. Then I went to an art camp, and, well I've just been putting it off.
Trust me, keeping up a blog is harder then it looks.
So I'm back and ready to give it another go!
Didn't really matter that I left because its not like anybody reads my pitiful blog
but that's all going to change now that I'm back!
Anyway to celebrate my return I thought I'd share these amazing charm bracelets with you!

These unique bracelets can be found on http://www.so-charmed.com/
There are so many more amazing charms bracelets I didn't post so you have to check out the site.
PLUS! Charm bracelets aren't the only thing they SoCharmed specializes in. There are bunches of other extraordinary jewelry pieces.

Chalk The Mall

This past weekend me and a few of my friends braved the heat and participate in an event called Chalk The Mall. All ages were welcome and it doesn't matter what skill level you have. You bring yourself and a good attitude to have fun!
Everyone gets some free chalk from the art supply studio/store on the strip and then chooses a master work (Devinci, Picasso, Degas, etc.) and reproduces it on a 3x5 or larger sidewalk square.
Anyway, we had about a 30 person turnout doing chalk, but hundreds of people working in shopping complex and by-passers joined in too.

Here is some of the chalk works in progress.

The Vintier's Cellar, was offering free wine tasting for the older participants and cup, cookies, and bubbles for the younger ones.
I thought that was really generous of them.

My friend, Mary Beth's piece (top) and my other friend, Erin's chalk work (bottom).

and then last but not least, mine.
Next time you should come too, we hope to grow bigger every year.
But if your not in the local area join in on the fun by buying some sidewalk chalk and pastels then make your driveway a master piece!

where did the rain go?

Yesterday I went to Cedar Point. In case you haven't heard of it, it's a really awesome amusement park. Rode a bunch of rides, ate tons of sweets, and best of all, partied with friends.

Came home at 3:00 a.m and crashed.

This morning I woke up, drank some sugary coffee, and drew lots and lots of pictures. In the process of seeking inspiration I found an old post on the typepad: The Moldy Doily about Vogue (UK mag, 2002) photo shoot entitled "Hidden Treasures". It was fantastic inspiration so I thought I'd share with everyone!

Enjoy.

I thought this was so cute! I found it months ago on loveforyou.typepad.com, and couldn't post it cause I don't have a blog then.
Anyway,
LIVING LIFE ON THE EDGE ISN'T JUST FUN, IT'S GOT PROPOSE TOO!

Garage Sale Flunk

The sub I live in was having a sub-wide garage sell this past week end. I love sifting threw junk; fantastic, lovable treasures just waiting to be discovered.
Anyway it was a failure, only three lousie garage sales in a subdivision of almost a hundred houses.

I only bought one thing- Mr. Scarecrow.

and I'm sad to say Mr. Scarecrow has sense passed away at the mercy of my doggy's teeth.
A needle and thread shall not patch the huge hole in Mr. Scarecrow's head.
